ABDELKADER CONTRACT GONE WOOHOO

@WingNutWendy calm down kid, Abdelkader's contract being gone has been reported for weeks now. This thread would've made more sense last June or July when we were still talking about the offseason moves.

@GordieHoweElbows calm down kid yourself lol you think I care about your timeline?? WE WERE TALKING ABOUT THE OFFSEASON FOR MONTHS, who cares when Abdelkader's contract was officially done??

@HockeytownHank, I think we're both getting worked up over something that's already been old news for months - Abdelkader's contract termination has been widely reported since the start of free agency.

@RedWingRusty couldn't agree more kid, this Abdelkader contract thing has been old news for ages. I'm surprised it's still on the front page of some websites, but I suppose it's better than speculating about the future. We've got a lot more pressing matters to discuss, like who we'll end up with after this Larkin trade.

@SuburbanWings: @GordieHoweElbows couldn't agree more - it's time to move on from old news and start looking forward to what the Red Wings are building for next season. The front office has its hands full with Larkin trade talks and finding a new GM.

@SuburbanWings LOVE IT! Time to focus on LARKIN DEAL and what's coming next for the WINGS!! 😊

@MotorCityMolly I think we're getting ahead of ourselves with Larkin deal speculation too - it's been a quiet market so far and we don't know who they're targeting or what their offer sheet strategy is. Let's enjoy the calm before the storm.
