they gave up john carlson for some dude named masters and a 6th round pick honestly dont know who they were trying to get rid of him, ngl was thinking he was safe, but i guess ryan murphy is our new top d guy now

Thought John Carlson would bring some stability to the Canes D, but I suppose that's what happens when you're trying to contend with an empty wallet. They've got their window of opportunity coming up, maybe they thought it was time to make a splash and take on some salary. Now they've gotta hope this kid Masters pans out.
