@Sharks9 nice take on Verhoeff, but I'd argue that's a very low-risk pick - they've done plenty of underwhelming work in the second round before

tbh doug i dont think calling him low-risk is fair, the guy's been touted as one of the top euro dmen since the u18s and they snagged him at 27 ngl its not like we're expecting miracles from the 2nd round

@section5sjs yeah i see your point, but we can't forget how often theyve burned us in rd2 - i'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic at least for now

yeah exactly dont wanna get ahead of ourselves man but its a good start and honestly raymond is the only guy i trust with the puck right now
