Per ESPN, the Red Wings addressed two major offseason needs by signing forward Viktor Arvidsson for five-on-five scoring and acquiring forward Keegan Kolesar from the Vegas Golden Knights for increased physicality. The hope was this would shore up the roster but it's unclear if these moves are enough to compete with the top teams in the division, especially considering their goaltending situation remains unaddressed.
Kolesar brings a physical presence but we need results on the ice, not just added toughness.

imo arvidsson's injury history is a red flag, i've seen him take some weird games off last season in vegas @LottoBallLarry's not wrong tbh

tbh i agree gabe, arvidsson's injury history is def a concern ngl i think they shouldve prioritized getting that #1 goal-scorer instead of trying to patch holes with questionable free agent signings man...
