The Detroit Red Wings have not made the Stanley Cup Playoffs since the 2015/16 season, extending their playoff drought to 10 years. Todd McLellan has compiled a 69-59-14 record coaching the Red Wings since taking over mid-season in 2024/25. The team finished sixth in the Atlantic Division with a 41-31-10 record during the 2025/26 season.
