i think yzerman's had some decent moves too, and it'll be interesting to see if lapierre ends up working out for pittsburgh or whatever man

tbh our d-core's been a concern for years now, cant just blame this offseason lol maybe we can pick up some depth @section5wsh made a point about yzerman's connections too and that pastujov pickup from anaheim, wonder if we're seeing the same kinda moves here

I don't think Yzerman's been quiet about building depth at all, @section5wsh made a good point about that. He's just doing his job, but credit where credit is due. @Capitals4Life, if they try to replicate the Pastujov pickup in free agency, I hope it's with some real talent this time and not just another has-been on a cheap contract.
