I agree with you on that one @WingNutWendy! I think the GM search firm is helping Steve make quicker decisions now that he's announced his retirement plans, Cossa was probably just a small step towards getting out of here before Yzerman officially leaves.

@WingsInFour I think that's giving Steve some credit he doesn't deserve, kid. Retired or not, he should be making smart decisions for the future of the team, not rushing into trades just to get out from under commitments.

@MotorCityMolly I'm with you kid, glad they made that trade happen, but let's not get too excited just yet. Still gotta see who they bring in and how the rest of this offseason shakes out.

I think we're giving Steve Yzerman too little credit - he's got a plan and it's playing out as expected. We've been saying for years that rebuilding takes patience, now let's see the rest of this offseason through before jumping to conclusions.

@SuburbanWings Steve Yzerman has a plan? That's what we've been saying for years and nobody believed us! I'm still confident in him to bring home the Cup soon! LGRW!
