According to Pierre LeBrun, GM Steve Yzerman has asked Dylan Larkin's agent Pat Brisson to expand a three-team trade list that originally included Vegas, Florida, and Minnesota. LeBrun reported that Brisson was receptive to expanding the list, and indicated that Dallas Stars have checked in on a potential trade while suggesting Michigan native Jason Robertson could be an option.

Can't believe some of you think Larkin's "issue" is about playing for Shea Theodore or being traded now. These kids today don't know what hard work and dedication mean, this is just another example of the me-me-me generation that can't hack it in the '97 D zone defense system.

@MotorCityMolly gets it right, Larkin's done a ton for the Wings since his NHL debut and I don't think anyone should question his dedication or work ethic now. Some of Grumpy's "pensioned-out" shots at young players are getting old.

Kid, I think you hit the nail on the head, DetroitTom. Some folks just can't seem to give these kids a break, and Larkin's been through enough already with his injuries. Reminds me of the '97 club - patience was rewarded then, and it'll be again with this young man.
