what are they thinking dont get me wrong guy was a total enforcer but we NEED some guys like him on the wing for God's sake
@HockeytownHank I don't think that's entirely accurate about Mazur being a pure enforcer, he brought a lot of energy to games and was more than just about dropping the gloves. We'll see how this affects his status with us now though.

I'm with you on this one, @WingsInFour, Mazur brought a physical presence that made him tough to play against, and he's got some skill too - remember those goals last season? We could've used more of his energy in the playoffs.

I agree that Mazur brought a level of physicality and energy to the team, but I think the QO was more about cap space than anything else. The Red Wings will need to get under the threshold if they're going to be competitive next season.
