Jake Debrusk Trade Targets

@BlackhawksTruther I think you're right, we've been downplaying our interest in DeBrusk publicly to focus on those defense prospects. It's not like we need another veteran presence, but he'd be an okay pickup if it happens.

dont really disagree actually think we can fit debrusk in, we've got some dead space on the roster and he's a decent scoring threat ngl his price tag won't break the bank @section114chi

yeah, dead space on the roster is one thing but we also gotta think about the depth chart, don't wanna be thin up front if the kids aren't ready to step in @Blackhawks81

@pat_blackhawks yea but kids arent goin to just sit on bench forever they gotta get some experience somehow and i think debrusk would be good fit to give them some guidance on teh ice dont see how hes a bad pick up for that reason alone

think debrusk would be a decent mentor for our youth but his game's still reliant on powerplay magic, no way he can score 30 goals in a year at even strength @section114chi

idk man think thats giving debrusk too much credit tbh his even strength numbers have been pretty meh for years honestly

I think that's giving Debrusk a bit too much credit as well, kid's been coasting on those PP magic tricks for years now. Back in my day we didn't rely on gimmicks like that to score goals, they had skill and hard work. @Blackhawks81 made a good point about his even strength numbers.
