I'm loving the optimism here!! We've been saying this for years and finally people are starting to come on board! OP, you think we're going to turn a corner now, but I'm telling ya, Lucas Raymond is already giving us glimpses of stardom, he's the real deal!

yea but we still got alot of issues on teh power play and if we cant score when its 5 on 3 wuz good i dont see us makein much noise in playoffs this year

yea your point doug but we stil got players with playoff experiance like dahlen and lafreniere why cant we get teh PP goin with them on the ice dont you think thats worth some kinda try?
Andy_v makes a valid point about experience on the PP, and Dahlin and Lafreniere could be key contributors to fixing the problem. That being said, we also can't rely solely on existing players, some fresh blood and creative coaching might be necessary too.

You're right, experience alone isn't enough, but the real issue lies in their ability to create high-danger chances - Detroit's xHDCHA rate on the PP has been among the lowest in the league for years. Until they can convert some of those scoring opportunities into actual chances, it'll be tough to see significant improvement.
