The Detroit Red Wings remain without new management while searching for a trade destination for captain Dylan Larkin, who requested a trade in April. The team lost Patrick Kane, who re-signed with the Chicago Blackhawks, and is short on scoring depth with James van Riemsdyk remaining unsigned. The Wings' center depth currently includes Andrew Copp, Marco Kasper, J.T. Compher, and Michael Rasmussen.
