Victor Plante was the only Red Wings prospect to play in Team USA's final two games at the World Junior Summer Showcase. Plante had a three assist performance alongside Sammy Nelson in USA White's game against Team Sweden. The Red Wings have a prospect list with players who have the motor to make the NHL, and whoever becomes the next GM will inherit a stocked cupboard of young talent.
