Kid, you're excited about Seider's future and rightfully so! But let's take a deep breath and not put too much pressure on management just yet. It's great to see the enthusiasm, but we've been in this situation before with promising young players only to have contracts drag out or fall through - I'm thinking of Nicklas Lidstrom back in the day.

@GordieHoweElbows I understand your caution, but Yzerman's shown he's committed to building for the future - Seider's a key piece of that puzzle and I think it's reasonable to expect a long-term commitment from the team. It's not just about pressure on management, but also setting a market value for other young players like Larkin.
