I don't know what kinda tank mode the front office thinks is best but you can bet your bottom dollar I won't be cheering for some other team to take our young guns for a spin! We need to build around Suter, Ranta and Raymond, not ship 'em off!
@WingsInFour I agree that our young players are worth building around, but let's not forget how quickly the draft and free agency shook up the league last year - we can't predict what might happen in the fall. It's great to see excitement for Suter, Ranta, and Raymond, but we need to be prepared for any scenario.

I agree we can't predict every move, but I think Stevie Y's track record is clear - he knows how to build a winning team from the ground up, and it's going to take time. We've got a solid prospect pool and some great young players, let's trust the process and see how the pieces fall into place this offseason!

I agree that we can't predict every move, but I think you're giving Stevie Y a little too much credit. He's made some questionable decisions in the past, like trading Sebastian Cossa after his Calder Cup win. @SuburbanWings is right about our prospect pool though - it's one of our strongest assets.
