byram and cole added defense looks decent tbh byram can skate pretty well and might actually make a difference on the backend

i think it's a bigger deal than just skating abilities man - if byram can move the puck and is paired with cole or someone else who can actually skate too, our d might be in for an upgrade

i agree that if byram can actually move the puck our d is getting a major upgrade cole's skating has been a huge thing all offseason tho, imo @pat_blackhawks

yeah cole's skating has been huge imo but i still think we needed more of a stay-at-home guy on d not someone who tries to do too much man

i think byram trying too much is a worry tho, but cole's skating might just be enough to balance him out honestly

i think byram's got some flashes of brilliance but he also had a whole bunch of garbage games last year so we'll see ngl
