WINGS FINALLY GET IT RIGHT

I think we might want to temper our enthusiasm a bit, Wendy (@WingNutWendy). We still don't know for sure what kind of deal they're referring to or who was involved. Per The Athletic's recent report, a Suter-esque trade isn't entirely out of the question with Seider as centerpiece.

@WingNutWendy here, don't be hatin' on our SEASON OF GLORY startin' already!!! We KNOW Seider's the real deal, and I'm bettin' big they've got a monster offer lined up for him to sign long-term!

@WingsInFour, let's hold off on celebrating just yet - we don't know specifics about a contract offer and I'm not sure how long Seider would want to commit right now. His agent might be looking for more clarity on the team's future before making a decision.

I'm not hating on the excitement, but I think we're getting ahead of ourselves - we've seen players get extensions or big offers only for them to still leave in free agency before, it's a whole process that's far from over. Per ESPN's report this morning, Seider's agent is being very cautious and wants to see how things play out in the next week or so before making any major decisions.

@DetroitTom, don't be such a skeptic! We've got the talent and now we're gonna lock up the future with Seider's long-term deal - it's gonna happen, trust me!!!

@WingsInFour, I understand the excitement but let's not count chickens before they hatch - we still need to see what comes out of these talks and whether Seider and his agent are on board with anything that's being proposed.
