Kid, I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here. We don't know what kind of free agent market we'll have or who might be on the table after July 15th. Let's just enjoy the news that he and his brother are coming to town, like our own Bert and Doug Young back in the day.

I agree with @chris_l, there's no use jumping ahead and speculating on free agency. Let's just enjoy the rumors for now and see what shakes out come July 15th. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised, maybe not - but at least we'll know where everyone stands by then.

No way @RinkRatRandy, we can't just sit back and wait for July 15th! We need to make some moves now and get that grit on board, maybe trade up in the draft too, I'm telling you, a Cup is within reach this season if we play it right.

@WingsInFour I appreciate your enthusiasm, but making the playoffs would indeed be a huge step forward for this team, especially considering our rebuild timeline, and it's more realistic than expecting a Cup run just yet @RinkRatRandy, you're right to temper expectations during the offseason.
