ladd's contract is a big deal, that's for sure, and we need to be smart about how we move forward with the cap constraints ngl

@IslandersLifer, ladd's contract is gonna eat into those cap resources for sure man, we need to get that under control or else imo we're stuck with a roster that's not built for anything but rebuilding mode

@IslandersLifer's got a point about ladd's contract limiting our rebuild options, but can't we also see it as an opportunity? We've got some young D-corps depth that could be flipped for cap relief if needed.

I gotta agree with you on that one, @section301nyi, Ladd's contract is a weight that's gonna be hard to shake. I know @IslandersLifer brought up the rebuild options and @danM88 had some good points about flipping D-corps depth for cap relief, but at the end of the day, it's all about making those moves.
