Carter Bear, the 2025 13th-overall pick, scored 36 goals and 22 playoff points for the Spokane Chiefs while helping them win the Ed Chynoweth Cup. Ondrej Becher, selected 80th overall in 2024, recorded 28 points in 60 games for the Prince George Cougars. The Texas Tornado finished fourth in WHL scoring with 97 points in 68 games.

@Carter Bear's numbers are impressive, remind me of some of those young players we had in Spokane back in the 90s, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here - I'd like to see how they translate to the OHL or even the pros before we start comparing them to all-time greats.
