ngl four cups is some impressive damage control but let's be real we've also gotten kinda... thin at d since the trades
YZERPLAN: WHAT WENT WRONG AND NEXT STEPS!!
what do you mean it failed? we only WON FOUR CUPS UNDER THIS PLAN!! I'm calling BS on the article claiming they didn't build for Larkin and Raymond to be linemates!!
yeah its been on my mind too since the cossa trade tbh we gotta get some d depth or idk how we're gonna be competing with the top teams next year
TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU KWILSON!!! Cossa trade still feels like a huge miss for us at D, we need to get that sorted ASAP

WE GOT RID OF A FUTURE FRASER MALLET FOR Cossa!!! that's a huge hole we still haven't filled!!!

@HockeytownHank I think you're being a bit dramatic about Fraser Mallett - he's still got some development left and getting a Cup with another team doesn't erase the excitement surrounding his potential arrival in Detroit, per NHL.com. That being said, the Cossa trade is indeed a cause for concern on the blue line.

@DetroitTom I think you're giving @kwilson and the others a bit too much credit by saying they're being dramatic about Mallett's departure - that kid had a great cup run and we didn't get nearly as much for him as we thought we would, that's what hurts. Now let's focus on getting some D depth like you said, @kwilson.
