According to Joe Yerdon at The Athletic (per source), Cossa is reportedly facing a critical decision point regarding his NHL future, with possible trade or promotion on the table.

I have difficulty seeing a trade as anything but a last resort. Cossa's underlying numbers were decent in his short stint this season, and I'm not convinced he was underperforming to Postava outplaying him in the AHL playoffs is overstating it - there are likely more factors at play here than just one or two games' worth of data.
