I think we can all agree he hasn't fulfilled that first-round hype so far. The kid's got tools, but he needs to put it together on the ice and start producing. If they trade him now, I'd expect a decent return since teams still think he might pan out down the road.

@RinkRatRandy, I'm afraid we're going about this all wrong. Lafreniere's got skill, but he's been playing like a $13M player on a $1M budget if you ask me. He needs to step up big time, not just put together some mediocre stats and pray they keep his salary in check.
