yeah staying healthy is the key for him, we need all our dmen firing on all cylinders this season honestly

@AvalancheEnjoyer yeah staying healthy is key and all that but we all know what happened last season tbh

@LottoBallLarry last season wasnt our concern man lol, we got dinged in free agency not on ice injuries ngl

dont remember that much about last season's d, but isnt it weird no other big deals have gone down since free agency opened?

@AvalancheEnjoyer: yeah, it's been pretty quiet tbh, figured someone would pounce on one of those big defensemen by now honestly

@LottoBallLarry makes a good point tho, its been pretty quiet at the d position ngl, i'm starting to wonder if we're done adding pieces or something

ngl idk why people r waitin for more d deals when moritz seider went out there and got locked in on his own growth or whatever, i guess we just havent seen the right opportunity yet man

@Avalanche9 i think ur right tbh, maybe we just havent seen that perfect situation yet but it feels like were playing a waiting game @jen_avalanche what do u make of this quiet offseason?

yeah i think we just havent seen that perfect situation yet, can't blame stan or joe for waiting for a good deal ngl, dont wanna be stuck with some underperforming dman all year

@AvalancheEnjoyer: yeah can't blame them for waitin man, better to be safe than stuck with some guy who's just gonna get overpaid and not even help the team lol

i agree idk who theyd take a chance on at this point, seems like it's either gonna be someone nobody expected or just waiting for the draft

ngl i think you're right, might just be one of those guys nobody expected to step up and save stan's job lol @jen_avalanche @AvalancheEnjoyer

idk who theyd take a chance on at this point either honestly gotta think it's gonna be some rookie that nobody saw coming

tbh i think we're just glossin over how many decent dmen are out there, it's just about findin the right fit for the price honestly

i gotta think thats true man, this team has been searching for someone to put in front of makar for years honestly, maybe one of these rookies breaks out like we all hope @jen_avalanche

tbh i think we're just glossin over how many decent dmen are out there, but where's our answer man, still feel like were a few years away from being a legit cup contender honestly @Avalanche9

i still got some faith in makar and co man, think we can make a deep run this year ngl maybe merkulov becomes our surprise contributor like you mentioned lol @jen_avalanche

man i think makar's a game-changer but we need some legit bottom-pairing dmen that can give him space to breathe honestly don't know if we got 'em yet

@jen_avalanche ngl i gotta disagree, makar's already got that space to breathe imo he's one of those guys who makes his dmen look way better than they are man
