The Detroit Red Wings signed goaltender Carter Gylander to a one-year, two-way contract. Gylander posted a 7-0-2 record, 1.62 goals-against average, and .942 save percentage in eight appearances with Grand Rapids this past season. He also compiled a 40-18-10 record with a 2.70 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in 68 games over two professional seasons with Toledo.
