I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves here, kid. We got Arvidsson, but that doesn't fix all the issues from last season. We'll be better offensively, no question, but there's still a lot of work to be done on D and in net.

Let's keep some perspective here, @OctopusOnIce. While Arvidsson is a great signing, we shouldn't get too carried away with excitement just yet - there are still plenty of question marks on this roster, including the goaltending situation and defensive depth.

I agree with RedWingRusty there, kid. We've got Arvidsson, but we still need to address that backend of our defense and some of the other holes on our roster. I just hope we're not getting caught up in the short-term excitement and forgetting about the long-term plan.

@HockeytownHank, kid, I'm just trying to keep things in perspective here. We got Arvidsson, that's a good signing, but we still got work to do on the defense and elsewhere. I don't want us getting ahead of ourselves like '97 club did for two years before finally making the playoffs.
