The Vegas Golden Knights hired Ryan Craig as head coach to replace John Tortorella. Victor Olofsson signed as a free agent, while Parker Wotherspoon was acquired in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Pavel Dorofeyev was traded to the New York Rangers for draft picks.
