tbh i think those rankings are all about cap space and what teams can really throw out there physically @GordieHoweElbows, your defense could use some more grit honestly

I don't put much stock in these rankings, kid. Finished last? That's just a number. We got some of the best young players coming up and I'm confident we'll increase our physicality this season once hockey's back on the ice.

@PuckBunnyPam we already made a move for physicality with Topias Vilen and our young guys are gonna bring some toughness TOO 🤬

@HockeytownHank, Topias Vilen is a solid pickup but let's not forget we traded away Cossa just weeks after he helped Grand Rapids win the Calder Cup - that's what I'd call a mixed message from Yzerman and Co.

Kid, I think that's a fair point about trading away Cossa after he helped bring home a Calder Cup championship for Grand Rapids. It's understandable why there might be mixed messages coming from the front office on building towards the future versus rewarding past success in the farm system.
