I'm surprised they didn't get him on an extension - Robertson's got clear NHL starter upside if he can reduce his shooting percentage floor to something more sustainable. I'd have expected the Stars to lock him up longer term.

@danM88, I don't blame 'em for signing him short-term first. One year's plenty of time to see if Robertson can keep producing that way. It keeps his cap hit down and lets them reassess next offseason.
