tbh frankie_d makes a solid point about faceoffs tho ngl our FO play has been subpar, but is it really worth buying someone who's just good at drawing circles? @crossbatt23 agrees with this, right?

I couldn't agree more with your assessment, tj_morris, a good faceoff specialist can indeed be a difference-maker, just like Ted Lindsay used to make his presence felt at the dot back in his playing days. Our forwards could certainly benefit from learning a thing or two about winning puck battles. Reminds me of the '75 team, they had that grit and determination that made all the difference.

yea but we need a FO specialist who can actually draw circles not just on teh faceoff dot but in our zone too, dont get me wrong ted lindsay is legend and all but this team needs alot more than just a pretty faceout man @frankie_d what do you think about that

Kid, you're right again. That one play doesn't make a season, no matter how pretty it looks. I'm glad we've got Raymond back on the ice and playing like himself, that kid's been through a lot.
