Former Detroit Red Wings forward Jan Mursak has decided to play a farewell season for Austrian club EC-KAC in the European League ICEHL. The 38-year-old made the determination after weighing his decision for much of the summer, though he had been leaning toward retirement. This will be his 19th professional season and fourth with EC-KAC.
