The World Junior Summer Showcase continued in Windsor, Ontario, with players from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States competing for roster spots for the 2027 IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta. Swedish player Eric Nilson, who helped Sweden win gold in 2026, aims to help his country defend its title at the 2027 tournament. The showcase will influence which players earn spots on the national teams for the December 26-January 5 event.

I'm with ya SaltyScotty, Marchenko is a solid addition for sure. And if I recall correctly, @SabreRattler was right on the mark with those two second round picks being the asking price. I've got faith in Komoja too, maybe he can finally scratch out some wins this season with that kid on board.
