Well kid, seems like we're getting into some pretty interesting times here in Motown. I've been reading about all this Tkachuk trade business and how it might affect Larkin's plans. Let me tell you something, back in my day a guy wouldn't even think about leaving, but I guess that's not the way things work anymore.
Kid loves playing for his hometown team and if they're willing to pay him that kind of dough, then it would be hard on anyone not to take it. Reminds me of Steve Yzerman - kid wanted to stay and play out his contract before going off to Tampa.
Come on Gordie, cut the nostalgia act! We all know what's important here - Larkin's still the best center in the game and we're gonna give him the tools to keep winning! @GordieHoweElbows, you can't seriously think anyone's trading for Tkachuk and not thinking about how it affects our guy, right?!
