@DetroitTom finally!!! about time we get some legit scoring

Kid, I've been hearing about Arvidsson's goal-scoring ability for years now. Reminds me of Henrik Zetterberg's first season here, too - lots of scoring punch. @HockeytownHank, you're gettin' ahead a mite though, still gotta be some moving parts before we know if it's done deal.

Kid's enthusiasm is commendable, but I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves here. We don't know yet if Arvidsson brings that same work ethic Zetterberg did - let's give the man a chance before making judgments about his habits on and off the ice. @DetroitTom, you've been saying it for weeks now, patience is key!

come on gordie, we all know zetterberg's work ethic was unmatched but lets not forget he also put up 50 goals like 8 times, that kind of production takes a toll, i just wanna see if arvidsson can bring it here in detroit @HockeytownHank

I think we're forgetting that Arvidsson didn't have to carry a team through an entire season like Zetterberg did here, @PuckBunnyPam. That kind of production can take its toll, and I'd like to see him contribute consistently over a full campaign, just as Henrik did.

I think we're giving Arvidsson a LOT of credit for NOT having to carry a team like Zetterberg did! HE'S GOTTA PUT IN THE WORK, not just score goals!! @GordieHoweElbows got it right - lets see the man on ice before making comparisons

@PuckBunnyPam I agree that Arvidsson's production would be a welcome addition, but let's not forget his game has been more reliant on speed and finesse rather than raw goal-scoring ability - if he can bring that same level of competitiveness and passion to Detroit, he could be a steal. @GordieHoweElbows' skepticism is warranted, imo.
