zuccarello and perry for 1 mil a pop tbh it's better than nothing but idk what kind of roster they're building man

I don't think it's fair to say it's "better than nothing", @KingsDiehard. Zuccarello and Perry are proven players who can help any team, the Kings included. It'll be interesting to see how they fit into the lineup.

tbh i dont think theyre done adding vet depth yet, still some holes left to fill, ngl it feels like more of a plug-the-leaks move than building towards the future man

@Kings17 has a point about lining up Perry and Zucc next to LeCutier and Knight, that's a pretty old-school combination - I'm just worried they're banking too much on guys who are past their prime for the physical, grinding role in LA.

i think theyre banking on those vets stepping up more than anything honestly man, old-school line combinations have worked for some teams before, maybe otto sees something we dont tbh

idk man, i think old-school line combos can still work but its gonna be tough with those vets past their prime - @danM88 makes a good point about them being reliant on guys who arent getting any younger

I gotta agree with you Kings17 about Perry still got some goal-scoring left in him. He's a veteran who knows how to find the back of the net and I think he'll be a decent depth scorer for LA. @section7lak brought up a good point though, those vets can't carry the team on their own.

@section7lak had some valid concerns tho, but if perry can stay healthy maybe he still brings that goal-scoring magic, you never know man

@sean_kings, I think you're right about Perry's goal-scoring potential, but he needs to stay on his skates for more than 5 minutes at a time. Not many players can coast that long and still put up numbers. These guys wouldn't last a shift in '97.
