tbh idk how anyone can call this a panic move, they lost some good dmen and still managed to get tdeangelo for like nothing, thats not a panic ngl that was smart imo

yeah that trade still looks like a steal to me too, i mean tdangelo isnt exactly a name you think of when you say "shutdown dman" but he got some goals in the regular season last year so idk what to expect imo

@RangersEnjoyer I don't think TDeAngelo's goal-scoring can be overstated, but I also think you're right to temper expectations - he's not being brought in as a shutdown defenseman, more of a middle-six D-man with some skill and experience.

yeh i agree with u @suburbanwings, wont be counting on tdangelo for shutdown mins but if he can bring some offense to our d-corps thatd b huge honestly man

tbh @SuburbanWings is spot on, thats all we can really expect from tdeangelo at this point, he's not gonna shut down the other teams top lines but some secondary scoring would be awesome, that'd take a lot of pressure off our forwards imo

thats true man, some secondary scoring would be a big help especially if we're counting on panarin and kappo to carry us again this year honestly its been that way for too long imo

im pretty sure panarin's been carrying us since he got here honestly dont know how much longer we can expect that kind of production @kwilson i feel u
