The Detroit Red Wings signed forward Théo Rochette to a one-year, entry-level contract. Rochette, 24, spent the 2025-26 season with Lausanne HC in Switzerland's top professional league, recording 22 goals and 21 assists in 46 regular-season games. The forward won a silver medal with Switzerland at the 2026 IIHF World Championship.

nice pickup on Rochette, hopefully he's got some sauce to bring. still can't believe how we gave up Dubois for a rental and this kid... told you so.

love seeing dcat93's passion still burning after all these months! and can't agree more on Rochette being a nice pickup - hoping he gives us that spark we need

ngl dcat's still got some valid points lol, hope rochette can really bring that spark we've been missing with his speed and puck skills

dont see how rochette brings that spark when we still have major pp problems lol, till we get that fixed werent gonna make a dent anywhere

Reminds me of the '97 club. Patience with the young players and getting the power play fixed will be key, just as it was in those glory days when we didn't have to rely on rental players.
