Patrick Marleau will play his 1,500th regular-season game with the San Jose Sharks against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Marleau was selected by the Sharks with the No. 2 pick in the 1997 NHL Draft and played 1,493 games for the franchise before being traded to the Maple Leafs in 2017. He later returned to the Sharks after being bought out by the Carolina Hurricanes.
