The Detroit Red Wings assigned nine players to the Grand Rapids Griffins and released four players from professional tryouts. The team placed four players on injured reserve, reducing their active roster to 32 players. The remaining roster consists of 19 forwards, 10 defensemen, and three goaltenders.
