@SenatorsLoyal I still think losing dmen is worse than losing centers. You can't replace a Norris Trophy winner but you can find a serviceable center with the right coaching.

Reminds me of the '97 club. Patience was rewarded then and it will be again.

I agree with your sentiment, @GrumpyInGrosse. Losing a top defenseman can be crippling, but I think we should also acknowledge that the Flyers' centers have been a revolving door for years. It's hard to maintain continuity when you're constantly replacing players, just ask Gordie Howe about the importance of stability on the ice.

i think we senators fans know a thing or two about trash centers tbh honestly it's just one of those things, you gotta roll with the ups and downs (or whatever) until someone actually develops some skills

imo losing a top defenseman is worse than losing a center, but tbh our own senators' centers have been underwhelming for years too man @section7ott

ngl losing a top dman is def a huge blow but our centers have been trash for so long i'm still hoping one of them breaks out and makes us forget about all those years of mediocrity @Senators19 knows they're gonna be relevant soon lol

ngl i cant disagree more honestly raymond is the only guy i trust with the puck right now man. at least he shows up tbh @jen_senators knows a thing or two about breaking out, dont get me wrong but i need it from multiple guys, not just one @section7ott

I'm not sure why we're questioning the Sens' logic on that rental player, @section7ott. They got a 1st round pick out of it after all. I'd rather have a pick in the first round than a 2nd or 3rd string goalie in my opinion, no matter who gave it to us.
