idk i thought dumping eklund would be a no brainer tbh, didnt think he was worth more than a 9th overall pick alone ngl maybe im wrong but me personally woulda gotten rid of him sooner

dont think thats a bad return at all tbh, the mystery part of ekland was probably just cause he was always trying to do too much and got way too many penalties honestly imo we needed to get away from that mentality

i think that's part of the issue tho, he was just trying too hard to be a playmaker and ended up being a liability tbh @greg_sharks idk how many times we saw him cough up the puck in the neutral zone, it was like he had no concept of defense at all man

yeah i remember those coughing up the puck moments too, tbh it felt like he was trying to force plays that werent there man @greg_sharks got it spot on with the "trying too hard" thing imo

tbh i think we're all forgetting one thing man, eklund was a healthy scratch way more than anyone wants to admit lol @SharksNation
