ngl yzerman's move is gonna be huge for detroit tbh they're finally getting out from under his contract i'm curious to see what happens now with larkin and all that

im just saying yzerman did alot for detroit but honestly that means he probably knew his contract situation was bad and made moves to get around it @Ducks19 is onto something there man.

i dont think thats fair man yzerman made some questionable moves too, like that cossa trade imo he had his head elsewhere on the ice when detroit got stuck with that bad contract

I don't think we should jump too far on Yzerman just yet. He did his part in building this franchise from the ground up and deserves some respect for that alone. Reminds me of the '97 club - patience was rewarded then and it will be again.

tbh i think losin cossa and larkin back to back would be a huge blow for them, man now they gotta start from scratch with yzerman just collecting a paycheck out in calgary
