Ducks Sign Klepov To Entry-Level Deal

not really sure about committing to him on an entry level deal yet tho, i know we need some D depth but can't they just wait and see how he develops in junior or something like that?

idk why ppl are getting all worked up about klepov already tbh, we're just locking him in for 2 yrs and getting a cheap dman honestly

imo that's a fair point mike_ducks, but let's be real we need dmen and klepov is probably gonna be playing some meaningful minutes next yr so might as well lock him in @section114ana

i feel u mike_ducks, but we shoulda just waited til training camp to see where he stood and not committed so hard on a 2 yr deal tbh @section114ana gets it too man

i can see why u might think that, but tbh i think theyre more worried about not wanting to lose him and having no choice but to lock him up for those 2 yrs

ngl i think u're right @mike_ducks they dont wanna lose him but 2 yrs is still pretty steep for an undrafted signee, wish they'd played it cool and waited on the extensions

i think u're right, 2 yrs is a bit steep but i guess they really believe in him and dont wanna let go, hopefully he pans out and makes it worth the investment @DucksNation gets on my case about this too man

ngl i think you're right, they don't wanna lose him but 2 yrs is still pretty steep for an undrafted signee, wonder how they plan on handling cap space with this deal and some other guys hitting free agency @DucksNation

ngl yeah cap space is def a concern now that we got klepov locked up for 2 yrs and a bunch of other guys hitting fa next yr, gotta imagine they're hoping to make some deals happen before season starts @section114ana

man i think they got caught in a situation where if they didnt sign klepov someone else wouldve taken him and we lose out on that depth for years honestly

ngl that's true, we lost out on some depth in free agency and now we're makin moves like signin klepov to an entry level deal @section114ana
