imo this is huge for our d corps, he's been solid ever since we got him and 8mil per isn't bad considering his production tbh i'm a bit worried about the length of it but cmon its only 7 years man.

You think $8 mil per is high? Kid's only averaging about 30 points a year, and you want to compare him to guys like McDavid or Matthews who are breaking the bank because of their scoring touch. These days it's all about paying for stats, not for what kind of guy you can put on the ice.
