andersson contract thoughts

i agree on andersson, dude's been great for us but 8 mil per is high imo, not crazy tho considering what else is going around

You think $8 mil per is high? Kid's only averaging about 30 points a year, and you want to compare him to guys like McDavid or Matthews who are breaking the bank because of their scoring touch. These days it's all about paying for stats, not for what kind of guy you can put on the ice.

ngl i dont think 30 points per year is a bad return for that kind of contract man, andersson brings so much more than just scoring to the table imo

idk how you can say thats not crazy considering whats going around, that $8mil per is getting pretty high imo, gotta see who else signs for that kind of cash now @nick_goldenknights

ngl andersons production def justifies the $8mil per but imo its still on the higher end compared to what other top dmen are signing for now @GoldenKnights4Life

i think andersons production justifies way more than $8mil per honestly id rather pay him a bit extra now and avoid the cap issues that are gonna come with paying some of these young dmen in 5-6 years

@LottoBallLarry: GoldenKnights4Life, I see your point about paying Anderson a bit extra now to avoid cap issues down the line, but we're still talking about $8mil per on a 7-year deal - that's a steep price to pay regardless of production.

im just saying if u gotta pay him 8mil per for the next 7 years might as well do it now and get some other signings out of the way tbh @danM88
