merkulov is a mystery man tbh dont really know what to expect from him but hey free depth imo

yup free depth is better than nothing but idk if merkulov's the guy for it honestly think they needed someone a bit more proven at this stage of his career

I've always believed that experience is worth a fair bit in this game. Merkulov's got some baggage, but he's shown flashes of brilliance in his time with Detroit's organization - perhaps they can help him recapture some of that magic. He'll be fine as a depth guy, and who knows, might even surprise us all.

yeah i dont think its the worst signing but man otto youre getting way too optimistic about him ngl he's gotta be more than just "showing flashes of brilliance" if you know what im saying @OldTimeHockeyOtto
