tbh yeah they do have a lot of cap space coming off but trading mc t for a bunch of picks and prospects dont make me optimistic about the future man

tbh i dont think its about trading for picks and prospects though, more like making a move before tavares gets paid man. they cant afford to be stuck with him at 10 mil when he's 30 or whatever lol.

dude thats exactly why we need tavares, ngl he's going to be worth every penny at that point even if its just for leadership and vet presence man

@DucksNation I think someone's having a chuckle at Mike_Ducks expense, but that Tavares deal does seem like a hefty pill to swallow. 10 million for one year of "veteran presence"? I'll believe it when I see it. The cap is the real issue here.
