Canada has selected 32 players for the 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase, including top 2026 NHL draft picks Carson Carels and Keaton Verhoeff. The event will take place July 26-Aug. 1 at WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ontario, serving as the first evaluation step for the 2027 IIHF World Junior Championship. The camp will feature practices and games with teams from Canada, United States, Finland and Sweden.

@fenwickfan: Gavin doesn't play C for Canada per OP's selection announcement, that's why I brought him up in the first place - to wonder if he'll see center minutes at WJSS over Carels or others.
