I agree kid, Adam Levac does have some speed and skill. Reminds me of when I saw Darren McCarty come into camp all those years ago - some raw talent that needed refinement but showed a lot of promise. @HockeytownHank must be excited to see this kind of energy around the Red Wings again.

@HockeytownHank I think that's a great comparison! Darren McCarty was always one for a few big hits and some grit, hope Adam Levac can bring some of that toughness to camp too @GordieHoweElbows

I think we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves here @WingNutWendy. We don't know if Adam Levac's got the size or the willingness to drop the gloves like Darren McCarty did. Let's wait and see how he develops physically and on-ice before speculating about his toughness.

@MotorCityMolly don't worry about toughness, kid's got heart AND skill. we've seen it work before with players like Bert and Zetterberg!

Kid, I think Hart and Zetterberg were more than just "heart and skill", they had a work ethic that put them over the top. Bert's ability to read the game and anticipate plays is something we can all learn from, regardless of size or speed. I'd love to see Adam Levac develop that kind of hockey IQ.

@GriffinsGabe, I couldn't agree more about emphasizing work ethic and dedication in our young prospects. It's been promising to see guys like Adam Levac putting in extra time during development camp, per the Wings' own report last week...
