Patrick Kane signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. The team hopes his experience will help their young core, including Connor Bedard, return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Kane last played for Detroit in his past three seasons, recording 163 points in 163 games.
