Patrick Kane departed from the Detroit Red Wings after being with the club since December 2023. Alex DeBrincat's future with the team is now questioned following Kane's departure. Kane returned to the Chicago Blackhawks on a two-year, $16 million deal.

No surprise Kane bailed. Guess that's what I get for thinking we'd somehow keep him and finally have some semblance of stability in this front office.

tbh kane's exit doesn't surprise me at all either, ngl that guy was a distraction waiting to happen and now we gotta find room for drashenkov too of course they didn't make it work @toddm_tc
